Partner with Step Up to provide sustainable, high-impact tutoring for your 2nd-8th grade students. Students will work 1:1 with a trained tutor to develop key foundational math and literacy skills and build confidence.
Tutoring with Step Up
We provide 1:1 virtual high-impact tutoring to 2nd-8th grade students in math and literacy. Students work with their dedicated tutor for 90 minutes weekly to:
Build academic foundations in math or literacy
Develop positive habits and mindsets
Foster positive relationships
Our Program Models
We offer two models for delivering 1:1, virtual high-impact tutoring.
At Home
Schools connect families to Step Up and students receive tutoring 2x/week for 45 minute sessions virtually from home
On-Site
Students receive and tutors meet 2x/week, 45-minute sessions virtually during the school day or as part of an after-school program
Our Tutors
College students paid through Federal Work-Study or College Corps, aspiring teachers, qualified adult volunteers, and high-achieving high school students
All tutors are screened and complete comprehensive background check
Tutors complete training designed by Step Up in partnership with ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation.
What You Need to Partner With Us
Provide students with access to computers/devices.
Designate a staff member from your school to serve as a point person with our team.
Support enrollment by disseminating information to parents and teachers.
